After watching “Helvitica” I was inspired to play around in Photoshop. I really didn’t want to get into anything important so I figured a new Twitter background was a good small project. The top one is the old design. I used it for about 2 years but with my site finally being done I wanted my identity to be recognizable. I kept the content pretty similar and even the main concept is the same but if you know Twitter then you know you really don’t have much space to work with. The design on the bottom is the new one and you can see it full size on my twitter page. While you are there you might as well click on the ‘follow’ button.

Phew…
This site has been a work in progress for over a year. I initially started it last summer but got lazy and never worked on it. Last month I finally got inspired to get cracking on it. Well, over the past few weeks I have spent most of my free time getting my stuff together and filling out my content. Thanks for swinging by and hopefully this will last me for a while. (I have an unhealthy tendency to want to redo my site every year.)

This is a great short about a young boy who develops a crush on the girl next door. What I like about this is the simplicity and way that the team captured the characters emotions without using faces. The plain textures and basic models show that you don’t need a lot of detail to touch your audience.
